The Black Wellness Experience

Event Overlay

The Black Wellness Experience, in partnership with Hart House, is a UTSC-led initiative that aims to co-create an impactful, holistic wellness space for University of Toronto’s Tri-Campus Black-identifying community, rooted in care, connection, and culturally affirming support.

This FREE event features massage therapy, a barbershop, a caricature artist, a live DJ, a Socasize workshop, delicious food, local wellness vendors with goods for purchase, community resources, interactive activities and games and tons of prizes!

The Black Wellness Experience is responsive to recommendations from the Scarborough Charter on Anti-Black Racism and Black Inclusion in Higher Education: Principles, Actions, and Accountabilities and the Report of the University of Toronto Anti-Black Racism Task Force. In recognition of these historic equity reports, this event is offered to Black-identifying students, staff, faculty, librarians, and community partners.
