Black Histories Edit-a-thon
Join the Black Histories Edit-a-thon for a series of free, online events throughout Black History Month!
No experience necessary! You can learn the basics or get a refresher on editing Wikipedia and Wikidata, then edit alongside others who are passionate about improving digital coverage of Black histories and experiences. You can also join the event and edit at your own pace throughout the month. This event is a joint effort by library and archives staff and students at the University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto Public Library, and York University.
Register for the kick-off event on Feb 6, and editing sessions on Feb 8 and 15.
