Research Assistant, Bridges to Better Experiences and Outcomes for Black Birthing People

A team of U of T-affiliated researchers at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) are looking for a research assistant for the project, Bridges to Better Experiences and Outcomes for Black Birthing People: A Participatory Action Research Study

The research assistant will conduct project-specific recruitment, help coordinate and attend advisory panel meetings, conduct qualitative data collection, and contribute to data analysis throughout the project with the support of the project team. The research assistant will also support the project’s dissemination activities, including working on literature reviews and developing abstracts for publication and presentations (and will receive authorship credit). 

The project is led by Sarah Wright, an assistant professor at U of T’s Institute of Health Policy, Management & Evaluation, Carol Soares, equity, diversity and inclusion specialist at MGH and Althea Jones, president-elect of Association of Ontario Midwives.

This is a temporary, part-time position ending on December 31, 2024.
