Navigating Careers in AI for Black & Indigenous Students, with Black & Indigenous Leaders – Vector Institute

This webinar will explore the diverse opportunities available in the growing field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and will feature an expert panel from Vector’s sponsor organizations and partners. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about Vector’s upcoming Excel to AI workshop.

This engaging and informative webinar aims to inspire and educate Black & Indigenous students about the vast career opportunities in AI and ML. Our panel will feature accomplished Black & Indigenous professionals who have carved out successful careers in these fields. They will share their personal journeys, discuss the roles they play in their respective organizations, and offer insights into how you can begin and thrive in a career in AI.

Deadline to register: August 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM ET

No prior programming experience is necessary.

This webinar is intended for:

  • Self-identified Black or Indigenous students or postdocs (Indigenous ancestry or heritage – First Nations (status or non-status), Métis or Inuit) studying at or recently graduated from a Canadian university or college
  • Educators or mentors guiding Black & Indigenous students*
  • Self-identified Black & Indigenous working professionals*
