JHI How-to: Include Research Trainees in KM & Research Activities
Researchers in the humanities and social sciences, are you wondering how you can better include student training in your funding applications?
As projects become more complex, as a PI you might be looking for some inspiration for the range of roles that students can play for a funded research project. This workshop presents the possibilities for student research assistants and features a roundtable discussion with other faculty PIs who have found innovative, creative and meaningful ways to include RAs to bring their projects from an idea into reality.

- The full range of roles RAs can play in your project, particularly for Knowledge Mobilization
- How to create meaningful opportunities for student professional development and mentorship
- How to nurture an inclusive, multidisciplinary and intergenerational community of researchers
