JAMII MOJA – O.N.E. Community

Event Overlay

Hosted by O.N.E. Community within the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough, JAMII MOJA is a space intentionally curated for Black-identifying business leaders and professionals to connect with members of the U of T community.

This year, our event centers on the theme of “The Voice Gap” explored through a presentation by our very own Prof. Tosen Nwadei. His talk offers insights into how cultural defaults can stifle creative expression and ideation within organizations. As we continue our commitment to Black Inclusion and representation within our community, we invite your support in showing up and contributing to healthy dialogue, discovery, and positive impact at the University of Toronto and beyond.

Guests will have the opportunity to network with university members involved in:

  • Sessional lecturing
  • Student mentorship
  • Guest speaking
  • Community-impact projects via Work-Integrated Learning (WIL)
  • Student co-curricular engagement

This in-person event is open to professionals, alumni, entrepreneurs, founders, and community leaders in the GTA who identify as Black. The evening will include a networking reception with refreshments curated from Caribbean and African menus.
