Info session: Data Science Certificate for U of T Doctoral Students

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and the Data Sciences Institute (DSI) are collaborating to offer an upskilling Data Science Certificate to doctoral students to support their success in their chosen field. The Certificate provides in-demand skills in industry that can enhance doctoral student career opportunities in their chosen fields.   

The certificate is offered to U of T doctoral students enrolled full-time in degree programs and in good standing. Doctoral students can be enrolled in any year of their studies, from a range of disciplines – social sciences, humanities and sciences. The Certificate is not appropriate for doctoral students in computer science, statistics, or mathematics. 

This info session will:

  • Help you to understand what to expect in the certificate
  • Provide you with the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session about the Certificate with Prof. Rohan Alexander, DSI Certificate Academic Lead, Faculty of Information and Department of Statistics, Faculty of Arts & Science
