Equity Matters Seminar

Event Overlay

The Equity Matters Seminar Series, hosted by the Vice Principal Academic & Dean, provides an opportunity for the University of Toronto Scarborough community to engage with prominent speakers on issues of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in academia.

Seminars are open to University of Toronto faculty, librarians, staff, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and community members.

The latest seminar will be dedicated to mentorship, equity, and leadership. The day will begin with a keynote address by Dr. Rachel Endo, Dean of the School of Education at the University of Washington Tacoma. The address will be offered in a hybrid format. Following the keynote and lunch, the program will feature panel discussions with faculty and librarians from recent Mentoring Partnership Fund projects, along with conversations on collaboration and institutional change.
