BRN Research Conversation Series: Understanding Racial Dynamics in Institutional Navigation

The BRN Research Conversation Series connects University of Toronto researchers for insightful and meaningful conversations about Black-led research and leadership.
Topic: Understanding Racial Dynamics in Institutional Navigation
What role does organizational culture play in the success or failure of diversity initiatives? How can police services build genuine trust and cooperation with communities of color? What role can researchers play in informing practices and strategies to foster social justice and equality?
In the third installment of the BRN Research Conversation Series, Tosen Nwadei (Assistant Professor, U of T Scarborough) and Timothy Bryan (Assistant Professor, U of T Mississauga) will discuss their respective research in examining the racial dynamics in organizational settings, policing and the freedom of expression of non-white identities.
The conversation will be followed by a Q&A session.
Please note that this event will take place virtually. Please register to attend.
