BRN 5th Anniversary Social

Event Overlay

Join us as we celebrate the University of Toronto Black Research Network’s (BRN) five-year anniversary – a milestone marking five years of impact, community and collaboration.

In Oct. 2021, the BRN launched as a direct recommendation of the U of T Anti-Black Racism Task Force and in alignment with the Scarborough Charter to advance Black inclusion and enhance the research capacity of Black scholars at the university.

Together, we’ll recognize the network’s role in advancing Black-led research, fostering meaningful connections, and creating opportunities for Black researchers to thrive and lead. The BRN’s anniversary celebration is an opportunity to reflect on this collective journey, recognize the people and partnerships that have made it possible and look ahead to the next chapter of growth and impact.

Please register to attend. Registration closes on Sept. 18 at 5 p.m.

This event is generously sponsored by Victoria University in the University of Toronto.
