Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research Education Fund

The Ted Rogers Centre Education Fund is designed to foster world-class talent among trainees and clinical research fellows, to drive projects that target the causes and progression of heart failure, and to accelerate innovation.

These annual awards are unique opportunities for researchers to pursue or validate novel ideas that have high translation and commercialization potential. Projects must align with our Centre’s overall mission and involve collaboration of at least two of its partners: SickKids, University Health Network and University of Toronto.

Education Fund awards are available at two levels:

• Doctoral (PhD) Award: $25,000 award, renewable once
• Post-doctoral Researcher (PDR) Award: $40,000 award, renewable once

The number of awards funded for the cycle is dependent on the quality of applications received during the cycle. The funding period runs Sept 1, 2026 – Aug 31, 2027.
