Proposals: 2025-2026 Community Knowledge Alliance – WGSI
Hosted at the Women and Gender Studies Institute, the Community Knowledge Alliance (CKA) is an initiative aimed at strengthening the intellectual and practical ties between communities of feminist scholars and feminist practitioners.
The CKA Fund is meant to galvanize, encourage and facilitate discussions across different sites of intellectual inquiry such as non-profit settings to grassroots social movements and government.
With a $15,000 annual budget, the fund supports at least two initiatives each year involving a WGSI faculty member (including affiliate faculty) and a community partner.
Project proposals are to be a maximum of two pages, including these four items: (1) a program description and rationale, (2) a list of applicants, (3) student involvement, and (4) a budget.
