What is a Data Management Plan and Why Do I Need One? – CRIS

Event Overlay

Hosted by the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS), this workshop is intended to provide a basic overview of Data Management Plans (DMPs), a tool often used to lay a foundation for good research data management practices through the life of a research project and beyond.

This workshop will cover a basic overview of the components of a typical data management plan and share resources available to support researchers and their teams to get started.

DMPs are currently required at the time of submission for some Tri-Agency opportunities.

Speaker: Dylanne Dearborn, Research Data Management Coordinator, University of Toronto Libraries
