WGS Research Seminar – Book Launch: “Suspicion” by Nicole Charles

Join the Women & Gender Studies Institute (WGSI) and guest panelists to celebrate the launch of the book, Suspicion, by Nicole Charles, an assistant professor in the department of historical studies.

In the book, Charles reframes the Afro-Barbadian resistance to the HPV vaccine in 2014, and examines the history of colonial and biopolitical violence, especially within the medical field.
