Strategies for Success: NIH Funding for Canadian Applicants
The Division of the Vice-President, Research & Innovation is hosting an information session on the research funding opportunities available to the University of Toronto and other non-US organizations from the National Institutes of Health.
This session will provide strategies for developing successful collaborations with US institutions, approaches to the new funding structures, tips for applying, and ensuring continuity throughout program changes. After an overview of NIH and the research funding opportunities available to non-US applicants, including the new Collaborative International Research Project funding structure, participants will hear from experienced faculty members, who will offer advice and insights on developing competitive research proposals for NIH programs as a Canadian researcher, and leading projects through program changes.
This will be followed by an outline of the submission process, including administrative elements, and concluding with an audience Q&A.
