Introduction to GenAI for Supporting Scholarly Writing – CRIS

Join the Centre for Research & Innovation Support (CRIS) for a webinar that aims to equip researchers with essential knowledge and skills for using Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to support their scholarly writing.  

This session will highlight how GenAI can support different stages of the scholarly writing process, from organizing ideas to generating and editing text. Participants will learn to craft effective prompts and will explore the application of GenAI for writing tasks through practical demonstrations using Microsoft Copilot. This session will address the limitations of GenAI tools and introduce practical strategies for verifying AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability in writing.
