Black Presence: Decolonizing Research, Teaching, and Health – Temerty Faculty of Medicine

The Department of Physiology in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine will host a symposium on June 26 titled Black Presence: Decolonizing Research, Teaching, and Health.

This year’s event will feature Black scholars who will explore cultural, historical and contemporary perspectives on research, teaching and health-related work in the sciences. Their insights aim to foster reflection, celebrate diverse viewpoints and promote critical thinking.

The symposium is not limited to the field of physiology and is open to all with an interest in health sciences and research.
