2025 Tanenbaum Institute for Science in Sport Conference

The Tanenbaum Institute for Science in Sport (TISS) Conference will bring together leading experts, scientists and practitioners to share applications of cutting-edge research at the intersection of science, medicine and analytics in sport.

Now is an exciting and fast-moving era for the generation of new knowledge through research in the fields of high performance sport science and sport medicine. TISS brings together internationally renowned experts to share evidence-based insights across a broad range of key areas integral to high performance athlete and team success.

TISS invites participation from professionals interested in high performance sport science and sport medicine, as well as coaches, members of athlete integrated support teams and representatives of high performance sport organizations who strive for empirically-supported decision making.

Geared towards the research community, the first conference day (Friday, September 26, 2025) will explore the latest research related to disability sports, sports medicine and female high performance athletes.

Open to the wider high performance sport and athlete community, the second conference day (Saturday September 27, 2025) will focus on knowledge application based on understanding the importance of critical current issues that can affect high performance athletes.
